At Giftisan, we celebrate authentic craftsmanship and fair commerce. Our refund policy ensures peace of mind for both buyers and creators.
1. Handcrafted & Custom Items
Because our marketplace features handmade and made-to-order pieces, standard change-of-mind returns are subject to artisan agreement. Personalized or customized items (with bespoke engravings, names, or custom dimensions) cannot be returned unless damaged or materially defective. Orders for custom or made-to-order pieces may only be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, before the artisan begins workshop fabrication.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If a product arrives damaged in transit or differs materially from its listing, please contact the artisan or Giftisan support within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging.
3. Resolution & Mediation
Upon claim review, the artisan will offer a complimentary repair, replacement, or full/partial refund. Giftisan provides active mediation to ensure a fair resolution in every case.
4. Return Shipping
If a physical return is required, return shipping is covered by the artisan or platform if the item arrived damaged or materially misrepresented.
5. Refund Timeline & Method
Approved refunds are credited back directly to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card or Mobile Wallet via Paymob) within 5 to 10 business days following claim finalization.
